Malmaison is named after the castle which was the favorite holiday resort of the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Josephine. Resolutely chic, its ornaments, openwork leaves and symmetry of the decorations, give a statutory imprint to the table and to all the moments that live there.

- The silver plated dinner knife in the Malmaison pattern has a steel blade to better resist wear and tear and to increase quality of slice. Ideal for salads and soft food. One of Christofle's most historic patterns, Malmaison exemplifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine.
