The first S.T. Dupont pen. The design of its Ligne 1 inspired S.T. Dupont craftsmen, who transposed the vertical metal guilloche of the lighter's driver to the body of a pen.
The body was then faceted, before being adorned with a vertical guilloche and launched on the market. Called the Classique, it marks the beginning of the Art of Writing according to S.T. Dupont and became, forever, an icon of 70's design.
