Mathias, who had spent his childhood in Syria and Turkey, designed Mille Nuits inspired by tales of a universe filled with peculiar magic. These influences combined with modern lines and a geometrical crystal cut, results in the timeless aesthetics of Mille Nuits pieces, fitting in classic interiors as well as contemporary settings. - Year of creation: 1900 Designer: Mathias The Mille Nuits highball glasses, which come in a set of two, feature subtly alternating Clear crystal stripes that highlight Baccarat’s painstaking craftsmanship. Traveling the length of the glass, this striping pattern gently diffuses the light and gives added depth to the crystal, in this way making every drinking experience both relaxing and visually compelling. Designed by Mathias for Baccarat, the name Mille Nuits is a reference to the 1001 Tales of The Arabian Nights, and to the world of the Orient. Additional Mille Nuits bar and stemware is also available in the form of champagne flutes, wine glasses, and tumblers. The Mille Nuits collection extends to Tableware in the form of decanters and plates, and to Home Décor in the form of chandeliers and candelabras.
